There’s everything from retro-style kitchen accessories to designer jewellery and high quality soaps to hand painted pottery. All our products have been carefully sourced and are especially imported into the UK for Boutique Provençale to keep our range exclusive.
The site launched in autumn 2007 and is the brainchild of Sue Aitken, a freelance marketing consultant who’s passionate about the region and felt that there were a great many fantastic products available in the south of France that just can’t be found in the UK. Sue discovered a number of artisan producers near her flat in Provence, and has put together a range of products that she feels will really appeal to the UK shopper looking for something that’s original and unusual.
Boutique Provençale offers a deliberately limited collection, so people won’t have to trawl through an endless stream of irrelevant items. And suppliers have been selected with care – focusing on artisans and smaller family concerns who are passionate about what they do.
