The Makeover Studio School of Make-up

The Makeover Studio School of Make-up is the regions first private make-up training establishment
located in Portsmouth, Hampshire. We are the official Royal Effem Make-up School and stockists of
the exquisite range of Italian cosmetics. We are dedicated to teaching the art of make-up application for
make-up artists. We welcome both beauty professionals and newcomers to the industry. As an
accredited training company our aim is to provide you with relevant information and background
knowledge to enable you to follow a fulfilling and professional training path.
We teach make-up artistry through theoretical discussions and step by step demonstrations. Skills and
confidence are developed by practical hands-on experience coupled with tricks of the trade and
techniques often omitted on standard beauty therapy courses.
Students are trained by the school Principal Tina Elliott-Hunt, a professional, qualified make-up artist
who brings more than twelve years industry experience and knowledge to her classes. The modern
training room features the latest range of fashion cosmetics and equipment where students will receive
expert tuition in friendly and relaxed surroundings.
